Puncture repair in North London, Herts & Essex

Where a tyre can be safely and legally repaired I'll repair it on the spot. If it can't be, I'll tell you straight and replace it.

What I do when I arrive

I look at the tyre first, because the right answer depends on where the damage is and how big it is. If a repair is safe and legal, I do it where the car is parked and check the pressure before I leave. You don't need to find a garage or wait for a slot.

I deal with cars, light vans, hybrids and EVs, at your home, your workplace or the roadside, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call me and I'll tell you what to expect and give you an honest arrival time before I set off.

When a tyre can't be repaired

Not every puncture can be fixed, and I won't pretend otherwise. These usually mean the tyre has to be replaced:

  • Damage to the sidewall.
  • A large hole.
  • A tyre that has been driven on while flat.

If you're stuck at the roadside

Get to a safe place if you can, switch your hazard lights on and keep everyone away from traffic. Then call me with your location and registration and I'll give you an honest arrival time. There is more on this on my emergency callouts page.

Please don't keep driving on a flat tyre to get to me. It can turn a repairable puncture into a tyre that has to be replaced, and it isn't safe.

Slow punctures and warning lights

If a tyre keeps losing pressure, or your pressure warning light has come on, it's worth getting it looked at before it becomes a flat. Tell me what the car is doing when you call. If the problem turns out to be the valve or the pressure sensor rather than the tyre, I can sort that too.

What you can expect

  • An honest arrival time and a price before I set off.
  • A plain answer about whether the tyre can be repaired.
  • Payment by contactless card, bank transfer or payment link, with a VAT invoice on request.

Common questions

Can every puncture be repaired?

No. Damage to the sidewall, large holes, or a tyre that has been driven on while flat usually can't be repaired safely, and I'll replace it instead.

Should I drive to you with a flat tyre?

No. I come to you. Driving on a flat can ruin a repairable tyre and isn't safe, so stay where you are, if it's safe, and call me.

What if I'm not sure how long it has been leaking?

Tell me what you know when you call. I'll inspect the tyre when I arrive and tell you straight whether it can be repaired.
